Although this car started life as a normal 427 sent out to Shelby in July 1965, it was later brought back to England by racing driver John Woolfe. No 427s were produced in right-hand drive form, so the dashboard Woolfe obtained from AC for his conversion was the distinctive AC 289 design--the car probably received its European type chassis plate at the same time. Paint colour has also changed from red to black, but otherwise this 427 remains very correct, with original leather trim and seat belts.
