The remote oil filter is located just in front of and below the blue radiator header tank. You can see a very small amount of the red filter can just below the blue AN 90 degree fitting. This is part of the oil cooler kit. The original oil filter was a stubby can that fit between the engine and frame rail. The oil cooler kit replaced that with an adapter plate that used a remote oil filter that was a full size standard screw on type. Just in front of the remote oil filter aluminum casting can be seen one of the front frame tubes and a pair of horns. The distributor can be seen below the tongue on the cold air box.
