CSX 7034

CSX 7034 is equipped with a Gessford built 302 iron block (347) with 48 IDA's, the car dyno'd 358HP at the rear wheels. It also has a TKO II Road and Track 5 speed with 3:73 rear end. CSX7034 was initially built to fulfill an order for eight CSX7000 Shelby Cobra's for Jim Harrells 289 spec racer program. Nostalgia only completed 5 of the cars and they were all built for track use only. When the series ended, two of the uncompleted cars came back to Shelby, and CSX7034 was one of them. Shelby held on to CSX 7034 in an unfinished condition until they elected to make it a factory demonstration car. The car was completed at Shelby and painted Viking Blue, it was sent to SC Motorsports in Mustang OK for a complete motor installation. While in OK, 7034 was shown at the SAAC event in Oklahoma City in June of 2003, Shelby then had the car shipped to Karman Cusack of Rocky Mountain Motorsport, CSX 7034 was at this location for roughly a year. The car was then returned back to Shelby Las Vegas where it continued to be used as a demonstration car until the Ford 347 and top loader was removed, it was installed into Edsel Fords CSX 7000 car. The car was then sold on January 6, 2004 to Allan Alarab and Rick Jeffery without the motor and transmission, a Gessford Machine Ford 347 with 48 IDA's was installed and the car has participated in a number of SAAC events on the West Coast. CSX 7034 won best new Cobra on February 20, 2005 at SAAC Las Vegas. Allan Alarab bought out Rick Jeffery in August of 2005 and still is the current owner.
