Please join me in welcoming our newest member and friend from "down under," in Australia, Stefano. Welcome aboard Stefano, enjoy! Good to have you with us! Check out Stefano's Cobra in the Member's Car page. Hot stuff!

"There is nothing nice about a Cobra. It's stripped down to the essentials, a big engine, a small car, and four wide tires to keep the whole business on the pavement. It's loud, smells like gasoline, and shakes, shudders, and bucks. It makes your arms tired and your feet hot. You nearly crash about once every 10 minutes. It's so damn wonderful that you can't believe it."

Nomad,

Our mail situation around here is bad. The check was lost of course. I won't use the postal system any more unless I just have to as they lose more mail than you would believe possible. Even money orders and then they charge you $10 dollars to trace them and tell you they got such and such post office and vanished. I really got into an argument with them over the last one and told them it was lost by them in their so called postal system and I didn't see why I had to pay them to tell me they lost it. Once they found a whole bag of mail from here that was supposed to go to Redding leaning against a tree and do you think they did anything to the driver who put it there. NO!!!

Bruce,

If he tells the truth about just how dangerous the old originals were you may be afraid to drive your new one. By the way, if and when I ever get my Coupe back, I have the chain pulls in it to open the doors like they used in some of the early Roadsters. But it also has an electric door opener too.

Bruce,

If I live long enough for him to ever get it going and sorted out, I will take some pictures of it in some better locations. If I can catch a clear day, Shasta Dam makes a great background and I see a lot of tourists during the Summer taking pictures of themselves and their cars with it in the background.

Ron, if Nomad is dispensing free financial advice, best be listening! I know Nomad, and he has more money than God! I'm not one to spread tales, but I have heard that Nomad and Tony Soprano used to be pretty tight! You didn't hear that from me! I don't want to wake up in the morning with a horses head beside me! LOL!

I hate being anal about this, but one or two facts are misrepresented in the above Post. Tony Soprano has more money than me, and what you "heard" was that me and God "used to be pretty tight". Other than that, I can vouch for the due diligence and accuracy of the previous Poster.

Cardiac? Hmm, reminds me of a Company in North Vancouver, British Columbia, that built Cardiac Cobra's for many years. Now defunct. I always wanted a Cardiac, because to me they seemed to have "got it right". However , if I am not mistaken, my Can Am built Cobra, utilizes a Cardiac mold.

Note to Bruce, I am giving serious thought to quitting this Forum, because I have always sworn that I would NEVER belong to a Group that would consider me as a Member.
