It is a little late in the year for car, show & shines up here, but I'll keep an eye out. You never know. ---------- "There is nothing nice about a Cobra. It's stripped down to the essentials, a big engine, a small car, and four wide tires to keep the whole business on the pavement. It's loud, smells like gasoline, and shakes, shudders, and bucks. It makes your arms tired and your feet hot. You nearly crash about once every 10 minutes. It's so damn wonderful that you can't believe it."

That is the 2nd car that Jay has had stolen. The first one was his Cobra. I have a feeling that car won't be at any shows anywhere. Ron ---------- Ron Widener

Yeah, more than likely, it has been chopped or re-vin's and sold. You never know, though. ---------- "There is nothing nice about a Cobra. Bruce, Just down the road from me about a mile we used to have a place called Classic Cars. They really had some nice ones on consignment but wouldn't allow any pictures. Then one day I was wandering around the showroom and saw a Cobra that belonged to a friend of mine for sale and they wanted $78K for it. Now he had just told me the week before he would take $45K for it and I knew that the frame was tweaked. Anyhow one of the salesmen came over and spent 10 minutes giving me this big lie about how the car was special built by a professional racer and all kinds of garbage. Joe has trouble driving on the freeway, let alone trying a race track. Finally I told the guy I know all about the darn car including the tweaked frame and twice overheated engine. Next door was a small speed shop and a week later I went over there and that car place was closed and locked and not a car there. Turns out they were selling stolen cars along with the legal ones. Which explained their fit when they thought I was going to take some pictures of the cars. And I wonder if the fact I showed up a day or so later with a friend who is a cop and was on duty had anything to do with their sudden departure during the night on a weekend.
