I thought that I had seen this thread on here before but I found it on another site. They post pictures of highly modified cars and ask people if they can guess what they were. This one came around to early for Nomad to recognize and I didn't either. I will post the picture of the original car it was based on later.

It kinda looks like the "Munster Mobile" ---------- "There is nothing nice about a Cobra. It's stripped down to the essentials, a big engine, a small car, and four wide tires to keep the whole business on the pavement. It's loud, smells like gasoline, and shakes, shudders, and bucks. It makes your arms tired and your feet hot. You nearly crash about once every 10 minutes. It's so damn wonderful that you can't believe it."

Any other color would just not had been right!!! Perfect, I love that car!LOL I wonder what it does in the quarter mile? Must be fast because it has a shoot to slow down and wheelie bars. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to cruise the beach in that car or even go through the drive-thru at your favorite fast food? My 7yo son LOVES that car. That is tooo much fun. WE ARE NOT GETTING ONE!

He has a matching guitar that he displays with it. Buit I had rather have the original car that he claims he started with, though I can't see any part of it in that. Ron ---------- Ron Widener

Model A Ford? Like you say, not a lot to go by. I would say a model T, but figured that would be to easy...

I am thinking that it is a Chev Nova. Too bad they parked that green thing in front of it though. ---------- Rehab is for quitters.

OK, Here is the car that this thing was supposed to have been made from. As I stated before, I would much rather have the car in its original condition.

Ahh! The "original" rear engined dragster.. I see some similarities, spoke wheels, two headlights, rear engined...Steering with a tiller rather than a steering wheel, must have been quite the experience. Love the air horn equipment. I should have one of those mounted to my roadster..sure save on the wiring. I wonder if that would pass tech inspection? What is it, a Stanley Steamer?
