To start off, I love the article "Charmed by a Snake" from a 1970 issue of Playboy and one of my fav books is The Shelby Cobra Gold Portfolio. "There is nothing nice about a Cobra. It's stripped down to the essentials, a big engine, a small car, and four wide tires to keep the whole business on the pavement. It's loud, smells like gasoline, and shakes, shudders, and bucks. It makes your arms tired and your feet hot. You nearly crash about once every 10 minutes. It's so damn wonderful that you can't believe it."

Ron75 441 post s 22-Jun-2008 8:20 AM	Bruce, I have that one and also another that is COBRA and COBRA REPLICAS GOLD PORTOFOLIO 1962-1989 that has a lot of information and pictures both on some originals and replicas. And the 1997 Registry, plus about a half dozen other books on Ford Performance cars that have various articles in them about the Cobras and Shelby Mustangs. Ron ---------- Ron Widener
