My better half got these book ends for me, in the spring. The story is, it is Carroll's own helmut, from "back in the day", cut in half to make the book ends. The rest of the story is they are from Carroll's own desk.

It's stripped down to the essentials, a big engine, a small car, and four wide tires to keep the whole business on the pavement. It's loud, smells like gasoline, and shakes, shudders, and bucks. It makes your arms tired and your feet hot. You nearly crash about once every 10 minutes. It's so damn wonderful that you can't believe it."

She is always on ebay and does "Cobra" searches. I am amazed at the stuff she finds and orders for me! I am one lucky guy!

I have a BIG latex Rat Fink I'll post when I get a chance.

Here's a few goodies including an Unused 1965 World Champion button.

Here's a very cool, to me anyway, old hand made tin Cobra. I don't know the story behind it, but someone sure was inspired.

I'll try to post a couple things each week. Hope you like them.

Excellent stuff, Dave! For someone to make that tin Cobra, WoW! That's dedication! Lot of work! My Better Half, got me a couple of tiny Cobras with working lights. Pretty trick! She also got me a couple of Cobras, Daytonas and GT40 for my slot car set! Really slick!

You know, if we all got together and brought all our stuff, we would have an awesome store!

A mini-museum! Which reminds me.. I'll be going to the museum in Bolder in September. Maybe I can sneak one of those cars out under my arm... :)

My wife came up with a good point. Having a permanent record of all this stuff on the net makes for good insurance documentation. When you add all this stuff up, it starts getting pretty darn expensive. :)

I received my Terry Ross sculpture last week & I have to say, it's very cool. I just got a new computer and am still figuring things out, but I'll post some pictures soon.
