One of our readers, Gary Goudie, is the proud owner of CSX 1001. He is the second owner and still has Carroll's original title. It was made using the original wooden bucks at AC. then shipped to Shelby American for completion. Shelby installed the Aluminum 427 and completed the car in F1 red with white stripes. CSX 1001 has an all aluminum body handcrafted at AC in England Completed at Shelby American with Shelby 427. It was donated to Shelby Childrens fund by Carroll and raffled off at Barret Jackson. According to Amy of SAI, there are only 13 of these all aluminum, hand crafted bodied Cobras made.
