To all my friends, fellow car nuts and customers (past, present and future):
Currently, I am undergoing an exciting new change in my employment status. I am turning my hobby, passion and obsession with cars and metal forming into my own business, Acton Custom Enterprises, L.L.C. (www.actoncustom.com). Bonni and I are very excited about this new endeavor and wanted to take the opportunity to share the news with you.
Some of my recent work includes custom gas tanks, roll bars, aluminum body panels, pedal boxes, and oil pans for Cobras (both real and replicas). For the home I have built anything from a 50’ aluminum dock, copper cap post covers to custom themed brackets for homes. As you can see I am doing both large and small projects of any type in custom metals.
I am currently working with Steve Pierce (www.one-off.com) on a million dollar Delaheye
re-creation with a gorgeous hand beaten aluminum body by Joe Stafford (www.panel-craft.com). The Delaheye is an exciting and inspiring project and a historic custom vehicle. There is more info on it here http://www.delahayeusa.com/currentprojects.html and a few you tube videos of it’s progress here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RarvP8G4bDs and here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N4arr4Ptks&feature=user
For the past three years I’ve been working with a friend, Paul Pinkham, making custom furniture from retired ski chair lifts. Paul and I turn chair lifts into swings, benches and bar stools. To check out this unique work the website is http://mysite.verizon.net/vze8hn4s/index.html
As most of you already know, I have worked in manufacturing engineering for some twenty (20) years. For the past thirty-five (35) years cars have been a personal interest and hobby of mine. We have received a great deal of help and advice from many of you and look forward to your continued support as we take a deep breath and jump into this new adventure.
Please take a minute to check out our website www.actoncustom.com. We would like to hear your comments or suggestions. We are always looking for new ideas and products to create. If you have upcoming custom metal projects you would like quoted please get in touch.
Although our website (www.actoncustom.com) is well under way, it does not yet list all of our capabilities and products. Be sure to save the website as one of your “favorites” and check back often to view new and updated information.
I look forward to “customizing metal” for you.

Cheers
