Shelby Experimental Green Hornet
This is the extremely rare (1 of 1) Shelby Experimental Green Hornet. From a news article, dated February 23/94. Steve Davis of Balley Oak Auto in Visalia, Calif., displays his 1968 prototype Shelby notchback coupe, a.k.a. "The Green Hornet." Davis arranged the sale of the experimental coupe to Martin Mazman, a collector, in Davis, Calif. Restored in 1993, the experimental coupe has fuel injection, rear independent suspension and a power antenna. A Ford executive payed $3,000 in 1971 to save the car from the crusher. Above, there is no number, only a designation for the one-of-a-kind 1968 prototype Shelby notchback coupe.
